I am a Personal Trainer from Gloucester and mum to a lovely son. I wasn’t always fit…

In fact, just 3 years ago I was 10 kg heavier and suffering with anxiety. I had no confidence to talk to anyone outside of my close circle. I had body aches and a fuzzy mind.

I was living in guilt because I had a strong need to have a little time for myself and I felt guilty for even thinking it. I had no clue what self-care really meant. It was a word outside of my vocabulary. It was negatively impacting my family and my son, in particular, as I could see it in his eyes…

Because I always used to be a positive and energetic person before I became a mum, I had enough one day and decided that I didn’t want to live like that anymore.

𝑰 𝒘𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈, 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒔𝒖𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈!

That’s where my journey began and I started to take care of myself, slowly at first. Adding new elements into my daily routines and adapting a healthier lifestyle.

I lost 10kg in 6 months, I had so much energy I could share my positivity and motivate everyone around me. I had a clearer head and I was much more productive and having fun.

I started loving my body again and I was excited about wearing all my favourite clothes which hadn’t fit me before.

𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒔𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒔𝒐 𝒂𝒎𝒂𝒛𝒊𝒏𝒈 that I wanted to help other women. I wanted to learn how to do it properly so I educated myself and studied personal training.

I wanted to motivate and inspire women (especially mums), to show them that it is possible to be all that they want to be without much sacrifice.

I know now that self-care doesn’t mean just having time for myself. I know now that I am in the centre of my own world and the way I feel about myself affects everything I do and all the people around me. I always show up and give the best of me when I take care of myself first.
